We have been working hard at creating new ways for you to create dashboards using modern web technologies. One of our latest additions is an SVG component that you can use to include interactive widgets that are designed and tagged in a graphic design tool. These new methods allow you to create more complex looking widgets beyond our standard set of material design inputs and charts. You can think of this as a further step towards replacing Mango's deprecated graphic views with a responsive solution that integrates with our new HTML5 dashboard design tools.
This video covers how to use the <ma-svg> component. You can use Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape to design graphics and mark elements within the graphic for interactivity in Mango. These examples and SVG images will be included in Mango 3.2. But the <ma-svg> component is available for use in Mango today!
